The Engineering Softball Classic is a softball tournament that features teams from engineering and construction firms as well as industrial operating facilities in the Baton Rouge area facing off in friendly competition to benefit charity. All profits made during the event are donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Over the past twelve years, more than twenty-five companies have participated in this event. Although softball is the main attraction, a major goal for the event is to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In just twelve years, the ESC has raised over $250,000 for St. Jude’s!
The ESC tournament is run by the Louisiana Industrial Sports Association, a 100% volunteer run 501(c)3 non-profit organizaion. Tax ID #81-1603082
